3 Tips to Create Aligned, Genuine and Authentic Copy and Messaging

Authentic Copy and MessagingBy Dr. Dolores Fazzino, DNP, Nurse Practitioner, Medical Intuitive

As business owners and professionals, our brand and who we are is everything. One of the most important things I have learned as a business owner is the alignment of my message, my brand, my actions, and myself. Yes, myself!

The saying “everywhere you go here you are” so well captures this concept. An example would be a person who is very unhappy in their work, feels that leaving and going someplace else would be a solution. The unhappy person leaves and starts their new job, and shortly after they are unhappy. The common denominator is the job, it may be the person. Most likely the person maybe unhappy in their life, and this overflows and affects each and every situation that they experience.

Believe it or not, our energetic alignment is more important than many have given it credit. As business owners, we continue to move in unchartered territory, and much uncertainty. This is not for the faint of heart. It takes faith, trust, courage, and being brave to be in alignment with ourselves and our messaging.

Our most important asset as a business owner is our message, how it feels, and the congruency of it and how it aligns with our body, mind, and soul. This is our secret sauce, the juice of who we are that will attract what we would like to experience in our professional and personal life. Our business is an extension of ourselves, our body, mind, and soul. What is even more important now is the energy of our message.

Your message has an energetic vibration that captures the essence of who you are. Is your message vibrating higher than who you are or where you are at in your life? Or are you downplaying your message, allowing it to vibrate lower than who you are? These are some questions to consider and contemplate. Bottom line, are you vibrating at the same frequency as your message?

Some things to, contemplate, and integrate…

  1. Is it who we are or are we pretending to be or deliver something that is not who we are?
  2. Are you in integrity with your message? Walking your talk or leading by example? Or are you saying one thing and showing up as someone or something else?
  3. Is there a flow to and connection to your messaging or is it choppy and out of alignment?
  4. Are you cutting and pasting others’ ideas, templates, and or processes instead of being the creator of your own? There is a lot of this happening today. It is very unauthentic and ingenuine.

Remember that everything is energy. When there is a disconnect in the messaging or it is not aligned with the brand, or the messaging is not aligned with who we are as a person, Houston, we have a problem! This can also affect the success of our business as well, the type of clients you are attracting, and the opportunities or lack of them you are receiving.

It is a feel thing. Everything is interconnected in ways we have no idea of. I describe this as more of a matrix, than a linear progression.
Who we are as a person is what we bring to the world. Remember everything is energy, a frequency, and a feel. You may think that you can confine this to separate boxes, in theory that may work, yet in reality that is not true. Who you are permeates all aspects of life. It is your energy.

So how does one create the aligned energetic message? Here are my 3 go to tools for this:

  1. Connect with your heart. When you are in your heart when you listen, communicate, and write you are connecting with your inner wisdom and sharing the message that is aligned with your essence. Even though you may not know the how, somehow you say the right thing.
  2. Be in the present moment. When you are in the present moment you can better connect with your heart and be completely in your physical body. All we have is this moment. This helps to ground your message in reality, this moment, and even make it evergreen.
  3. Listen to your intuition. When you are in the present moment, you are available to hear and listen to your intuition, your inner guidance system. We are offered jewels and precious ideas if you allow yourself, give yourself permission, and receive what it has to offer. Most importantly trust what it is saying no matter what your mind and your ego is saying counter to this innate truth. When you partner with your intuition to receive your messaging, you say the right thing, provide authentic, and genuine copy.
