Before Leaving Your Career as a Nurse Consider a Career Redesign
Years ago, when I placed my home in Newport Beach, California on the market, I hired a designer that was known for his ability to stage homes prior to their sale. Ben was very professional in taking his time walking around my house. He took notes in every room and asked when I could be gone for an entire day. So I picked a day I was working, and afterwards met friends for dinner. When I arrived home that evening, I thought I walked into someone else’s house! I was amazed how Ben had taken everything I owned and moved it into patterns, displays, and arrangements that made everything look brand new. I never realized my stuff could look so good.
Joining the NNBA and attending the annual conference can do this for your nursing career. We can help you see the knowledge and experience that you currently have can be rearranged in new ways that it is exciting and profitable for you. Many times, we are too close to our own lives to see what others can see. You know the saying, “you can’t read the label from inside the jar.” Just like Ben coming into my home and staging my possessions completely differently than how I had been using them. I was awed seeing what I had been living with now rearranged and redesigned.
Thousands of nurses over the years have told me that joining the NNBA and coming to the annual conference was totally revealing, exciting, and transforming. With so many options and business opportunities, the NNBA helps nurses to redesign, realign, and reconnect to their love of nursing.
If you are curious on how the “stuff” that you currently have could look so good, you can schedule a discovery call and make sure you are receiving the NNBA Newsletter to remain updated on the NNBA’s Nurse Entrepreneurship & Career Alternatives Conference.
