Florida Student Nurses Awarded
NNBA Awards Florida Student Nurses Certificate of Appreciation
NNBA’s Cindy Hart, RN, BSN has been very busy this past month with all kinds of happenings in Florida. Cindy was on the UCF campus November 5, 2014 for a ceremony recognizing the students nurses that volunteered at the National Nurses in Business Association’s 29th Annual Nurse Entrepreneurship Conference. I know our NNBA members loved having the students participate and see firsthand what the NNBA is all about. We champion nursing education and professional growth knowing the unlimited opportunities available to today’s nurse.
Here is an excerpt from the presentation, a couple of pictures from the event and a thank you to UCF’s Linda Howe, PhD, RN, CNS, CNE and Kimberly Dever, MSN, RN.
The National Nurses in Business Association is proud to recognize the following student nurses for their participation and contribution to the success of the National Nurses in Business Association 29th Annual Nurse Entrepreneurship Conference 2014 held in Orlando, Florida last month.
Brooke Wonderly
Sabiha Nizam
Jae Lim
Shannon Hassett
Suzeline Desir
Christine White
Laura Bobo
Dionne Nunez
As volunteers, from both the University of Central Florida and Valencia College, each student brought energy and excitement to the conference and helped facilitate a seamless transition through the various parts of the conference program. All of the speakers, members, exhibitors and staff were impressed with their professionalism, enthusiasm, composure and participation in the conference. Also, the NNBA was featured in an article by Laura Bobo , BSN Class of 2016 “Nurses Can be Entrepreneurs too!” in the Student Nurse Association’s Lifeline Newsletter. Many thanks to Cindy Hart for doing such a great job with Brooke Wonderly in coordinating this year’s student nurse volunteer program. We want to hear from our student nurses in the future as they contribute a vital link to the next generation of successful nurses.
Great post!
It was so inspiring seeing the students at the NNBA Conference. What a remarkable group of dedicated, enthusiastic and committed future nurses.
Looking forward to helping them succeed

I agree, Renee! I am looking forward to them utilizing the blog to talk about all that they are involved in at present. They are an impressive crowd to say the least! I am wishing all of them safe travels over the holidays and can not wait to see them again.
