Nurse Entrepreneur’s Exchange are interviews covering how nurses become nurse entrepreneurs and how nurses succeed in business. The name is attributed to the grassroots newsletter that evolved into the founding of the NNBA in 1985. The NNBA was and continues as the only professional nursing organization that is dedicated to the independent practice of nursing through entrepreneurial models.

NNBA member interviews are moving accounts of dreams, opportunities, challenges, and triumphs. In a spirit of trust and generosity nurse entrepreneurs shared their experiences with me during these interviews. Lorie A. Brown is a nurse attorney with over 34 combined years as a registered nurse and attorney. Ms. Brown combines her specialties with a practice of medical legal consulting and representing nurses before the Licensing Board and teaches nurse business owners how to get in the door of potential clients and make more money.

She is the author of several books and is an international speaker.
