Are you a new or aspiring entrepreneur? Have you ever wondered where to begin? Four years ago Pam was asking those same questions! She will walk you through her three year experience as an NNBA member and new business owner. She will focus on 5 key steps to move you forward starting at this year’s conference. Pam is joined by Louise Jakubik, a seasoned entrepreneur and NNBA member since 2005. Both Louise and Pam will make sure that you benefit from the NNBA Conference this weekend and help you to be enthusiastic and not overwhelmed. You will meet people that want to support and nurture your potential so you will be ready to springboard to your next adventure as an entrepreneur.
During this orientation session, you will learn:
- To develop two goals to accomplish by the end of the conference
- Three strategies to maximize your entrepreneurial efforts
About Pam and Louise:
Pamela Spivey is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and founder of Spivey Consulting, LLC. She shares her 34 years of expertise in neonatal nursing and leadership development as a national speaker, author and certified leadership coach. Pam launched her own business in 2015 to support individual clients and corporate teams through professional coaching, leadership development, and consultative services. Her unique experiences and passion for caring, drives her to “help nurses away from the wall and toward their possibilities”.
Louise Jakubik, PhD, RN-BC, CSP is a million-dollar nurse who has grown a successful, highly niched nursing education businesses. Louise was the highly acclaimed key note speaker at NNBA 2016 on “Business Ownership as THE Difference Maker for the Life and Work You Really Want.” Louise is a Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) by the National Speakers Association; this is the highest international recognition for professional speakers. Louise’s true love is to mentor and support nurses in their professional journeys. She is a seasoned national speaker, consultant, and author who typically travels more than 40 out of 52 weeks per year on paid speaking engagements and consultations.
