Conference Description
Nurse Entrepreneurs, Aspiring Nurse Entrepreneurs, and Business-Minded Nurses are gathering on Thursday, August 3rd through Saturday, August 5th, 2023 in Las Vegas, Nevada for NNBA’s Nurse Entrepreneurship and Career Alternatives Conference. This conference is designed for those nurses that are exploring the idea of starting a business, those already in business and nurses looking for non-traditional career options. With a proven track record of success, this conference delivers valuable business information customized for nurses, insight into healthcare industry trends, mentoring, and continued education in your professional growth and career development.
Nationally acclaimed nurse entrepreneurs and business leaders will provide nurses with the information, tools, and resources necessary to start your business or make your current business even more successful. In addition, there are four pre-conference workshops to provide you in-depth specialty knowledge, best practices and hundreds of ideas and tips, whether you are a novice or a seasoned business owner. It is a full agenda with presentations, interactive sessions, and powerful networking time. You will have plenty of opportunities with your colleagues to share innovative ideas and strategies, have discussions and explore potential collaborations, and simply enjoy the company of so many creative and like-minded nurses.

NNBA Entrepreneurship & Career Alternatives Conference is an educational and professional development event. There are 9.5 eligible contact hours for the main conference and 3.5 contact hours each for the preconference workshops. Contact hours for the Conference are provided by Nurse Builders, a provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing (provider #15118).

We have negotiated an amazing group discount with South Point Hotel, Casino and Spa. Save money by using NNBA’s group discount. The cutoff date to receive the group discount for your room reservations is July 12th. A dedicated webpage for the NNBA is available for attendees to book their hotel rooms online. Reservations can be made directly. If you are unable to book your reservation on-line, you may call the hotel directly. When making reservations, make sure you give the group code, “NAT0719”.
FREE Airport Shuttle to and from McCarren/Harry Reid International airport and South Point Hotel. For those traveling via plane, reservations are required at least 24 hours prior to transport, call (866) 791-7626 or local (702) 797-8901. Shuttle times are listed on South Point’s website.
The Preconference Workshops and the Meet and Greet Reception are Thursday, August 3, 2023 and the Main Conference begins Friday August 4, 2023 and ends Saturday August 5, 2023. Discounted room rates are as follows:

NNBA 2023 Conference is priced at $409.00 for NNBA members and $509.00 for non-members.
Please note that speakers and topics were confirmed at the time of publishing and that future circumstances, beyond the control of the NNBA, may necessitate substitutions, cancellations or alterations.
Cancellation/Refund Policy: Deadline for cancellation is July 3, 2023. Cancellations are not accepted via phone, FAX or website. Requests must be made via email to admin@nursesbusiness.com. All cancellation requests must be received by email, before July 3, 2023 in order to receive a full refund, less $75.00 administrative processing fee. No refunds will be issued for cancellations after July 3, 2023 or for no-shows. Refunds will be processed after the conference.
Contact Hours: NNBA’s Nurse Entrepreneurship and Career Alternatives Conference is an educational and professional development event. There are 9.5 eligible contact hours for the main conference and 3.5 eligible contact hours for each preconference with total eligible of 16.5 contact hours.
