NNBA Nurse Entrepreneur News – 01/01/2022
Happy New Year and welcome to our first newsletter of 2022! During the past twenty-two months we have seen nurses rise to the challenges and changes in healthcare delivery with courage, resilience, and optimism. It’s exciting to see nurses bringing much needed innovation to services, products and programs in healthcare.
Tabula Rasa is a Latin phrase meaning a clean slate, (good for a Jeopardy question) and good for the new year. Each 365 days before us is a clean slate where we have opportunities for growth. Many of us are reflecting, re-evaluating, and re-prioritizing our lives. For 2022, you can design your next year or your next several years. Many nurses view NNBA’s annual educational conference on entrepreneurship and career alternatives as a launch point for designing their career over the next several years. The strategies and tactics learned, and the connections made with like-minded colleagues and successful nurse entrepreneurs, give nurses resources they can trust as they pivot their careers into owning their own business or make their current business more successful. Mark your calendars to join us this July 21-23 for the #NNBA2022 Conference. We are so excited to be back in-person and have many special events planned.
What better way to kick off the new year than highlighting three NNBA members’ guest blog posts starting with Dolores Fazzino, DNP, Nurse Practitioner, Medical Intuitive 3 Tips to Create Aligned, Genuine and Authentic Copy and Messaging. Nena Hart, MSN, RN C-DONA, CHPN, RAC-CT Founder and CEO of Hart Healthcare Solutions, shares helpful business advice in How I Used Profit First to Build A Solid Business Foundation. Inspirational Rosemary Magnan, MSN, RN, CCM, shows us to believe in ourselves and not let anything stand in our way in Shift Time: A Case-Story of Changing Roles in Nursing.
We’re announcing the E-Learning Center is now open in the NNBA Store!
