NNBA Nurse Entrepreneur News – 03/31/2020
The continued change and evolving nature of this pandemic is moving fast. The events of the past weeks and days remind us more of how connected we are, and the importance of our global community. Every day I am inspired by the professionalism and dedication exhibited by nurses all over the world who are under the most challenging circumstances. I pray we continue to see speedy interventions, and innovations and that the end result of this crisis is one of a focus on prevention and wellness!
We are working to ensure that we do everything in our power during this rapidly changing situation to keep you informed, and make the most prudent choices in the interest and wellbeing of every member of the NNBA community. We have placed the following statement on our website’s conference page:
The continued change and evolving nature of the COVID-19 pandemic has led the National Nurses in Business Association to postpone launching registration for our annual educational conference scheduled for this September. Currently, Las Vegas Casinos and Resorts are closed for business, and we do not know when they will reopen. In the coming weeks, we will closely monitor the situation and will keep you updated as more information emerges.
The NNBA is a community of nurse entrepreneurs and business owners. Our businesses are an extended community of patients, customers, employees, vendors and partners. So many NNBA members are providing valuable services, programs and information in the form of podcasts, articles, patient-care, telehealth, webinars, education, caregiving, and more. NNBA members are using their platforms for delivering services. To help nurse business owners at a time when all businesses are being impacted, we are planning a free webinar: Nurses in Business: Adapting and Adjusting During Covd-19 and will be discussing success strategies for your business. We will send out emails and posts on our social media channels the date and time of this free webinar (we are looking at April 6th). Forward your questions by replying to this newsletter, and we will address as many as possible.
