NNBA Nurse Entrepreneur News – 04/01/2021
The best part of my week is speaking with nurses from all over the country. Within these conversations nurses share where they are in their careers, and where they are hoping to go in the future. The conversation topics are a mix between feelings of burnout, and frustration with the limits of a system that nurses know they can improve upon. Nurses are looking for more and many desire the freedom of an entrepreneur’s lifestyle. I am awed by the accomplishments and experiences of the nurses I speak with. They are ready for a change and ready to make it happen. The NNBA has a proven track record of helping nurses’ transition from employees to entrepreneurs whether it is stepping into entrepreneurship part-time or full time. We are excited to announce the following Workshops are available in the NNBA Shop. Three of the workshops deal with specific steppingstones into a nursing business and two of the workshops focus on the marketing and promotion of your business. https://nursesbusiness.com/product-category/workshops/

Here is a possible funding resource for nurse entrepreneurs that qualify. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is one of the largest sources of early-stage capital for life sciences in the U.S. There is more than $1.2 billion of seed funding for small businesses that are developing innovative products and services that could potentially save lives. You can learn how to apply for seed funding to support your early-stage biomedical research and grow your small business at this free virtual conference on April 26-30.
